During physical education classes, students participated in various fitness activities throughout the challenge and were encouraged to keep their journals updated. I n addition, Boone Trail 5th graders made a video showing the importance of daily exercise, as well as what activities they were doing as part of the challenge, and submitted the video to the Rams organization to be used for educational purposes.
Adam Hofer, a 3rd grader at Boone Trail Elementary, was named a student ambassador for the Rams in conjunction with the Play60 challenge. "Adam continually displays his commitment to live a healthy lifestyle in both the community and classroom," said BTE Physical Education Teacher Adrienne Pivac.
